Mozart’s ‘Komorebi’ $20 for 40 colors or Paul Rubens student line ‘MeiLiang’ under $25 for 48 Both of these sets I’ve seen featured on numerous professional artists sites, including impressive painting demonstrations using only these pallets, certainly never seen this pallet used by any professional artist sharing tutorials but for at one time Kristy Rice of ‘Paintcrush’ saying she USE to recommend as a beginner set but now is more in favor of the other pallets I mentioned. OR if you want artist grade paint I highly recommend the not so commonly known brand Rosa, specifically ‘Rosa Gallery’ (the artist grade option) a Ukrainian company. Truly comparable to Daniel Smith, M.Graham, W&N etc - my first Rosa pallet of 12 colors was roughly $15 and provided all the single pigment colors necessary to mix almost anything. I plan to write a comprehensive review with color swatches because I’m just so impressed.
