However, I purchased these as anti-chafing shorts. I am a size 20 - and I measured very carefully to purchase the correct size from the sizing guide. They fit very well in terms of hip size, etc. The only problem is that the legs are incredibly short. They therefore either rub your thighs painfully where the legs end or, worse still, as the day goes on they ride up / roll up your thighs and dig into the top of your legs.
