There is no way I am hang drying a king size duvet in the Seattle area in January. It’s just not happening. I bought this a few months back in army green and never once glanced at the tag to see how to wash it. I have dogs so I wash this thing very regularly and have never had issues. I throw it in the dryer on medium and it has never shrunk. I am assuming anyone who shrank it was drying it on super hot or something because this has gone through my washer and dryer several times without issue. It also holds up - no ripping or buttons coming off (other than the one my dog chewed off which is really a personal problem).Also, yeah the fabric is thin - this is a $40 duvet. It’s not going to be the thickest and plushest thing you own. BUT it feel like real cotton and the army green color I bought doesn’t show pattern through it. If you buy the white it is obviously going to be see through, most white fabrics are…I HATE the feel of microfiber so I was looking for an affordable cover that was actually cotton. This one is the real deal and feels actually like cotton. All in all it is a great product and you can’t beat the price.
