The color is the beautiful blue as shown, however, in pictures it appears darker than the stock photo. Its because of the velvet material but it's something to be aware of. If you're going for the exact blue color at first glance/from a distance, this is not the one for you. You have to be close or view the shoe from a certain angle to really appreciate the royal blue color. For that reason, I'd give it a 4.5 star rating.
