Review: MUST HAVE FOR 200+ LBS RIDERS - 03 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. Amazing difference. I was expecting them to be way too stiff and uncomfortable but I was wrong. There's just enough soft in the first couple of inches of travel and then it turns into FIRM. I'm 250lbs and I added exactly one inch to the spacer length of the stock honda shadow spacer and its perfect. I would say 140-180lbs just use the stock 4" spacers. 190-220 use a 4.5" spacer and 230+lbs use a 5" spacer. You won't be disappointed. The small bumps feel like the OEM springs are still in it and then when you hit a big one, you do not bottom out anymore and it's not harsh. Brake diving is significantly reduced to what feels so much more confidence-inspiring. My OEM springs would compress more than halfway with just me sitting on the bike and these progressives with the 5 inch spacer compress MAYBE an inch with me sitting on the bike. Love them. Don't even hesitate, buy these! *NOT A PAID REVIEWER!*
Review: Excellent Ride - Why did you pick this product vs others?: 2006 Honda VTX1300C with 43k, was getting a bad wobble into the turns about 35-40 mph. I hear that the steering bearings go bad and thought if I am replacing them I might as well go ahead and do these too. Glad I did, suspension is better than new. I did the springs, and seals, and of course the steering bearings, then I decided to do the rear shocks as well. Highly recommend!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Improved the ride on 1993 Honda Nighthawk 750
*by T***F on February 10, 2015*

Improved the ride on 1993 Honda Nighthawk 750. The progressive springs are a few inches longer than the OEM springs. Cut the included PVC pipe with a miter box per the length supplied with the kit, use sand paper to fine tune the length. The pre-load at the recommend length is about an inch longer than the OEM which give this a tighter ride. The OEM suspension seemed to be set for a rider lighter than my 200 lbs; a lighter rider may want to use less pre-load. The tighter handling works well with my full windshield and added passenger. The change in ride from the new fork springs is not as substantial as replacing the rear shocks, yet well worth the cost and effort. This is a fairly simple and affordable ride upgrade if you know how to service your front forks. I also replaced replace the bushings and fork seals for a full refresh. Bike has 65k mi.
