It helps somewhat but I was hoping it would provide more girdle type support. PROS: not bulky, can be hidden under clothing, does provide some support Bulkiness: it's very light weight and easy to hide under clothes. It doesn't bunch up and it stays in place. Support: it does offer some support so if you need the product to help with core support it works well for that. Personally my ribs bother me a lot since birth. This product helps to support them and keep them in place which helps to relieve the pressure I would otherwise feel. CONS: doesn't hold in the loose belly like I had expected I had hoped it would provide a girdle like support to help slim down an inch (or maybe two) so I could return to my normal clothes for work. Unfortunately it's not very good at that so I'm still limited on my outfits that I can wear to work. Overall it's a good product and I am glad that I ordered it. If you're looking for something to help add core support after birth it's a good product for that.
