They are harder and to be honest, they are a cheaper feeling material. Rather than $60 video games for the older kids, she loves playing make believe. Having also received a gift of plastic pots and pans and tea set, mom and she sit and play kitchen and both giggle a lot. I have fun just watching the two of them together, and actually have been invited to join them. However, I am not allowed to do any of the cooking!
