It's because they're all too small and too thin. Allow me to introduce you to Eddie Bauer's perfect throw blanket. At 70 inches long, it will cover all but the tallest people, and it's wide enough that it won't leave your sides exposed. It's also just dense and weighty enough that it's very warm, even when our home is chilly on cold winter nights. Plus, the sherpa lining feels great against the skin. Now all of my other blankets are in the closet as backups, while this Eddie Bauer throw sits on the ottoman ready for use. I purchased it during the winter and immediately considered it the superior blanket for a family room. I intend to order another one or two for this coming winter.
