Review: Work chair comfort - I love this seating pad it’s so comfortable! Using this outside the traditional norm I would say - not in a wheelchair or limited mobility/device. I repurposed this to use at my computer desk when sitting for long hours and it is very comfortable while also giving me a bit of a “boost”. Working remotely for 10 months has definitely resulted in a lot of home office upgrades. For me this was 1 of them. My chair is a steel case a decent brand it’s been falling a bit flat recently and I was starting to feel it - literally a pain in the butt! I initially tried the gel seat cushions people use in their car but that didn’t work out so well. It slid around too much and would start to fall out of the back where the gap between the seat and backing is. Fast forward to year end and trying to use my remaining FSA dollars before they expire and I happen upon this in the FSA store of all places. The dimensions were definitely big enough to solve the sliding out problem and the thickness was a big plus. The reviews and price were right so I placed my order. I cannot be more happy with the product. It is very thick, super cushy on my tushy you could say. I’ve been so much more comfortable sitting in my chair for long 10hr days and my back feels much better too. I think a lot of stress and strain I was feeling from a worn out old computer chair was taking it’s toll and rather than spending $100s on a new chair I was able to buy this for instant comfort and relief. The boost has been great too! You know how when someone moves the seat in your car after you’ve found the perfect position and it’s never the same?! Or you tweak seat settings and it continues to feel a hair off? Well in an effort to find relief I adjusted my seat height with the old gel cushion and could never find the right sweet spot again. My desk is rather high and it’s a challenge to get my seat to the right height while still keeping my feet on the floor (I’m 5’5). Thai cushion helped give me a boost where I can keep my chair low and feet on the floor with the cushion and height I need to keep my hands on the keyboard. **Q: Does this seat cushion have a GEL product in the seat as advertised on TV?**
A: No this is not a gel cushion product. But they do make gel cushion. It should be listed as Essential Gel cushion.

**Q: When you sit on a hard wood surface chair do you feel the hard wood through the chair pad?**
A: works really well on my wood desk chairs.  just enough squish, but does not compress as much as the memory foam cushions do--which is a good thing.

**Q: Will this size work with a wheelchair seat of 20 inches?**
A: there will be a slight gap on each side--but I don't know why not

**Q: Is the fleece on the top and the bottom?**
A: fleece is just on the top = my dad states it is very comfortable, we rotate it 180 degrees every day to keep compression at bay

I love this seating pad it’s so comfortable! Using this outside the traditional norm I would say - not in a wheelchair or limited mobility/device. I have bought a few different cushions to try to add comfort and relieve pressure while sitting on hard dining chairs or while sitting in a 16” wide wheelchair. 16” width for pediatric and small adult wheelchairs are hard to find. Most are 18” wide. This one was nice because it wasn’t hard, and there isn’t any gel to bunch up or bottom out. The price was right at $ 21.90. The size was perfect, and I liked that the zip-off machine-washable cover had both a warm side and a smooth side. Only con so far is that there isn’t a handle strap in the front of the cushion to grab when you move it or optional straps when you could secure it to a dining chair. All-in-all, great product for a small adult.
