These key fobs are small, lightweight, and incredibly easy to carry on a keyring, which our staff really appreciates. Despite their compact size, they work flawlessly with our existing HID proximity readers. The fobs have been very reliable so far—no issues with scanning or recognition. They are also durable, withstanding daily wear and tear without any signs of damage. The range is excellent, and we haven’t encountered any problems with proximity detection. Overall, the HID 1326 key fobs are a great choice for any access control system that uses proximity readers. They offer convenience, durability, and consistent performance. Highly recommended! Review: Great alternative to a badge! - These worked exactly as they were supposed to. I don't have a special programmer or any real experience with these, so it was pretty simple. I add cards for our small business through an IP based dashboard and didn't have any problems. The format on these is the standard 26 Bit Wiegand and the card/fob number is stamped on the back of these. The facility code is not included and is necessary to program these. I read some of the other reviews that said you could contact HID Global with the order number (also stamped on the back of the fob) and they would tell you the facility code. As some of the other reviews said, mine were preprogrammed with a facility code of 82. From an actual product standpoint, these seem to be working great. My employees kept losing the larger cards and this way they have them attached to their key rings and have less of a chance of losing them. They're very small and not too bulky. ProxKey III reserves 16 bits for the primary coding generally however with two separate orders, I received one in the sub-10,000's range and one in the 40,000's range. **Q: Will this fob work with a portable handheld 125khz rfid hid/id card writer/copier duplicator? i want to copy my building fob.** A: Yes. It should work with most 125khz prox equipment. However, if your equipment is limited to certain facility code, it has to match the facility code as well.
