It is bright and easy to see in the front of the screen but you can't see the screen from the side. That makes it very safe to read whatever you want to on the train, bus etc. It works very well with the apple pen and doesn't feel like it has the protector there. The face ID is also works well with the protector on and I didn't have any problem with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well as a Privacy Screen *by A***R on July 3, 2019* The application of the privacy screen was fairly easy. I had some bubbles but that's easily removed with the card tool that came with the privacy screen. Note that for the privacy screen to work the best, the brightness necessarily has to be dimmed down somewhat for the most privacy. That also means, depending on surrounding light condition, could make it harder to see smaller font fine prints on the screen. The seller was great, reached out proactively, and promptly responded to my question. I would recommend this product if privacy is your priority. ### ⭐ Pricy privacy feature non-existent...lots of bubbles to obscure vision though! *by M***N on May 28, 2019* A couple of things to consider...1. $35 is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a screen protector, but I needed it next day so my options were extremely limited.2. Although the film can be raised and reinstalled to get the fit just right, every time it is lifted and reinstalled, more bubbles appear. These bubbles do not squish out. The first time I laid it down, it was slightly off on one side. When I lifted to readjust and laid it down again, I got six tiny bubbles that I was unable to squeeze out.3. I have owned many privacy screen protectors that do what they are supposed to do. This ain’t one of em. The privacy thing does not work in portrait mode at all as shown in the product photos.
