Ive purchased a lot of these cheap amazon chinese carb tune up kit bundles being a small engine mechanic and have always had good luck with them until this one. This kit was used to tune up a yerf dog 3203 go kart with a 6.5 hp tecumseh powersport engine. It never ran right from the start. As soon as i bolted it up, it took forever to crank. Did not want to stay running and had erratic idle. So i took the bowl off to check the float and of course the float was not set correctly. When putting it back together the bowl gasket was a nightmare to reinstall being it was too big making the bowl not seal correctly. So after taking it apart 3 different times i finally got it to seal using an oem tecumseh bowl gasket. But one thing i found was the main jet holes were unevenly drilled and were deformed in shape. Also, the throttle plate had no cotton gasket and caused a vaccum leak which was causing a lot of the idling and starting problems. I placed Vaseline around it and ran much better. But the kicker is when i went to snug up the bowl nut that final time, the nut (which is also the main jet) broke off up inside the emulsion tube!!!! I was barely snugging the bolt up mind you. So i dont know if i got a lemon or what but this thing was absolute junk! Finally, i purchased another carb on here (Different brand) bolted it on and my go kart runs and cranks like new! So definitely, "BUYER BEWARE" on this carb! ### ⭐ Carburetor is GARBAGE *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2021* Save yourself the headache and buy a different carburetor. At first I thought this kit was a great value because it contained everything I needed. Unfortunately the carburetor leaks fuel and won't actually flow fuel into the intake. If I spray some fuel into the intake past the choke plate, the engine will start and run for a few seconds before it dies. I have tried cleaning and adjusting the carb to no avail. I will now throw it into my junk pile and buy a better one that is fully adjustable. ### ⭐ Very cheap knock off *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2020* I 1put this on kids go cart first 1/2 mile it floods out, tow home take bowl off and it has very lightweight float, replace float with old brass float problem solved. Next 1/2 mile air needle falls out, replaced with old needle problem solved. Next 2 miles primer bulb gets loose and leaks gas, retrieved clamp from old carb and added to it problem solved.
