I thought by buying a chimnea with a long smoke stack would help counter the effects of smoke blowing around when windy but that’s a no go. Just have to fire up when less wind and I’m ok with that 😎 I decided to paint it with metallic spray paint and I’m glad I did because it’s looks incredible. Great buy!

**Q: Is this made from Coreten steel?**

**Q: We have fairly strong wind from time to time. Can this be blown over? Thx**
A: Never had a problem with gusts of 65ish. However mine is in the mountains of Colorado with trees about 40 feet away. May be a different story out in the plains in high winds.....  the unit is well built and it does have some weight to it.

**Q: Is there a cover made to fit this particular chiminea?**
A: No cover.  But I wouldn’t buy this.  Door fell off hinges pretty fast, really made cheap in China... Ours lasted 2 years.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Fairly Heavy Duty Steel Chimnea.

The initial assembly was very easy. Supplied screws fit and worked as advertised. The "patina", as they call it, was simply rust, rust and more rust. A "Lot" of rust. So much so that I had to break out my sandblaster and my wire wheel to clean it up before assembly. I painted it with High Heat BBQ Black and we're good to go. Works well. Holds more and larger pieces of firewood than I thought it would. Wife is thrilled and I actually like it. It's not bad, other than the initial cleanup, hence the three stars. It does what it's supposed to do, and does it well.
