The synthetic handle is comfy and grippy, but not lightweight or flimsy like synthetic handles on many kitchen tools. This is the perfect medium size for almost any type of food, it's heavy enough to stand up to anything, and you can get good leverage for scraping on the bottom, whatever you need. Clean up is a breeze with these, I usually wash by hand it's so easy, but do sometimes throw it in the dishwasher, no problem. On anything except my few non-stick skillets, I reach for this as my preferred turner every time. Great value for the price!
