Still breaking them in but they work great on the sports court my team practices on Review: First off I love the colors that's a gimme - First off I love the colors that's a gimme. I used the purple core, orange & blue for all eight of my wheels. After my 1st practice with them, the wheels were broken in and I felt comfortable with the amount of grip the outer orange layer provided for me.They didn't feel too grippy and I did not slide. I decide to get a harder set. The yellow with blue hub and I was sliding alot with them on all 8 wheels.I reconfigured my set up and added my 88's back on and it was much better but still slick. I'm going to rotate my now broken in yellows with the newer unused yellows and test going around the apex.I probably will buy the 84/88s to mix with them in the long run though. I do like them and finding the right wheel for the right surface can be challenging. I skate on polished (not highly) wood track and the finished (not polished) concrete. The concrete really wore my softer (orange/blue) wheels down quick. They lasted Bout 4 months, with 2 practices a week on wood surface and 1 a week on concrete surface. Once I put them on and started using them I realized they are some great rink wheels. The 93/97 (Blue Green) wheels are awesome. Fast rolling, the right amount of grip around the corners, and not too slippy on the waxed floor.
