Not bulky and i like that you can wear it as a backpack or you can carry it. It has two inside pockets to add more supplies. I would like to see the inside pockets made to zip close or to seal close with Velcro. The outside zipper is sturdy made, and the case itself is of very good quality. The price for this case is excellent. I have bought 5 of them and will be buying more. I refer to these as my strobist kit bags. They hold everything a lightweight lighting kit needs; lightweight stand, umbrella or small collapsible softbox, strobe light, and still have room for extra stuff. The only downside is it does not have a shoulder strap however the handles are large enough you can put your arm through as a rudimentary asking sling. Tight, but doable. So far it's holding up quite nicely.
