I believe these cups main function was for espressos and the like. When the description says 10oz, they mean it. The 10oz button on my Keurig brews right up to the rim with no room left for sugar (my cup would literally, runneth over). They seem nice and sturdy, and unlike similar coffee cups, I was able to run these through my dishwasher and they came out exactly like they went in (minus the food, obviously). Other cup sets I've purchased have come out of their first wash looking like the world's tiniest palm sander was taken to the outside.
