My old unit was factory into the cover with a rivet gun. I didn't want to go that route due to the time it would take to pickup rivets that I would only end up using once. I drilled the holes in both my mower and the new unit to accommodate the new bolt and nut setup. Installed them reverse bolt sticking up from the bottom for the rotary clearance. I also replaced the new string with my old string. I finished cutting grass that day..... ### ⭐⭐⭐ Installation may not be so easy *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2020* The product is exactly as advertised but my older Toro mower had the starter cord assembly pop riveted to the top of the engine. Each of the four rivets had to be drilled out and all the shavings blown/vacuumed away so they wouldn't get into the engine.
