I’ll admit I was skeptical of whether or not the collar was wide enough to look correct on a bigger dog, but it has the standard 1” width of most other M / L collars. Atlas’ neck is 15” (with a 30” girth 🙄), which makes it difficult to find a collar wide enough to look good on him since he is bigger than most dogs at that size, but this works! AND it looks great! If you have a dog like Atlas, whose skin acts like its the apocalypse when most things rub it, this is a GREAT COLLAR TO PREVENT CHAFING as the end with the buckle holes has to travel through the ring to get to the buckle, which covers the metal buckle entirely.His poor neck has FINALLY HEALED WITH THIS COLLAR, and I have already washed it (baby shampoo and water, squeeze to make sure all of soap and most of water is out, then hang to dry) - the color remains just as bright when washed and has never bled onto his fur.WILL DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product and AMAZING customer service! *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2019* First I will say that this is a great collar. High quality, very nice padding for comfort, and the purple is a beautiful color. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and there was a sticker on the collar with an email address to contact them because "we understand that sizing the collar to fit your dog isn't always easy. If you want to change the collar size, email us..." I emailed Joseph, he responded within a couple hours, had Amazon issue a refund and told me to go ahead and order the correct size. When I asked how he wanted me to return the other one, he told me that he would love it if I would bring it to a local animal shelter! What an awesome seller to work with! I would highly recommend this product and company! ### ⭐ Not recommended for a large dog *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2019* This was a nice collar but it didn't last long our lab snapped the collar off his neck when he took off running when hooked up. We were lucky he didn't break his neck.
