Each vial is clear so you can easily see the color and the name is the label of each vial. And each vial has a lid with two openings: one that is big enough for a craft-stick (lollipop stick) and the other has several small opening so that you can shake out the mica. My goal was to use these as pigment for clear embossing powder. I just mixed my first batch and I'm very impressed. I used about 1 teaspoon of clear embossing powder and about 5-7 shakes of the Goldmine color. The amount of mica I used was very little! I ended up with a nice gold tone to my embossed image. Since this worked so well, I've gone ahead and ordered small, lidded, plastic containers so that I can use all 24 colors and make up each color into an embossing powder so that I have them on hand.
