La Costeña Whole Pickled Jalapeño Peppers, 12 Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)

So good! The carrots are not cooked, which I love!

First time trying this brand, bought one can... Liked them enough I reordered as a case! That should say it all.

Peppers are crisp and not excessively oily as in other brands I've tried. Normally, once can is opened, its unpacked immediately into a plastic container for keeping in the fridge. The whole peppers are on the smallish side but that's fine, they're usually diced or sliced into recipes or onto food in pan or salads as needed for prep.Veg:Liquid ratio: Packed in quite a bit of liquid. If i had any complaint it would be the contents is light on veg and heavy on liquid.On salads is great because the pepper (onion and carrot bits) are excellent garnish but so is the juice, vinegar marinade.The can: 1) Easy open tops are wonderful although i have experienced a higher rate of unusable new cans from spoilage. 2) Can liner (white) looks like BP which isn't good and particularly concerned of this when contents are corrosive ie vinegar and peppers. See what I try to do above to minimize exposure.Because of the BP cans, veg:liquid ratio the product rating went from 5 to 4.

love jalapenos and these cans are the right size for really true pepper eaterI open one can when needed so they are fresh and the taste are what hotpepper are suppose to taste like pickle peppers! yum these will last me a whileand the price and prime shipping made this a great deal

To eat with my food.

Great taste and not too hot. Also the carrots and onions in the brine add to the taste. Third time I have purchased these.
