**Q: Does this have a stainless steel frame or a cast alloy one? The advert claims both!!**
A: I don't know, I didn't purchase this particular model.

**Q: Is this slingshot suitable for survival in the woods and Forest**
A: I thought this "slingshot " would have been better than it was, the rubber stretch part didn't last, they snapped after a few shots and the small ballbearings that are supposed to keep the rubber inplace when you pull it back.....dont!!  As far as using it for survival it would have to be a very last resort.......

It’s very solid,I like the design and all seems good at the moment. I am just worried about the bands coming undone at the forks because the seem to be slipping everytime I fire

This is the third device from a different manufacturer each time. I think that the design can be an issue as I have managed to hit my thumb with the projectile on release of the elastic bands. I put it down to the fact that the gap between the left and right elastic restrainers is perhaps a little small and it is a fault which in my case results in occasional injury when firing a projectile at a target. Other than that the device is sturdy.
