It needs to be sealed for safely, not good. Not good it leaked on everything. Not good that it is in a poisonous plastic container that got hot enough to melt the entire thing. The cocunut oil would be fine melted, besides the leaking, except it's the plastic you have to worry about when it comes to heat and food. If you're female with the hairs of men on your chin, this plastic is why. It destroys your hormone balance, thyroid issues, and other things too. If it were sealed, I'd still be afraid of the plastic after being hot enough to melt every single drop of the coconut oil. I've never seen an unrefined organic coconut oil all the way melted through before and this is still melted on through to the next day. I'm "weirded out." And it didn't help that I was hassled on the chat for 2.5 hours dealing with the refund/replacement. I guess this is why it was at a good price. :-( I see it's no longer available, and I guess that's good since quality control doesn't have control over the quality - others are complaining about the same issues, I see. Meh. I'm tired of being on amazon... Like it was sitting for a long time in a warehouse. I also am not fully sure if the inside seal was broken at one small part. The outside seal was perfectly fine. But when I went to lift off that top seal it came off really easily like it had already been lifted up. But I'm not fully sure. I haven't gotten sick yet cooking with it.I also cook with this and use it on my head once a week as a hair mask.
