I find it adds a nice kick to all manner of food (tuna salad, homefries, potato salad. Wonderful flavor-trace of sweetness + decent heat. I appreciate very much that there is no fake chemical taste as there can be with some spice mixes. It sprinkles nicely.. I understand this company has a reputation for high quality ingredients & has won awards. I can see why-very nice spice.

A: well.. Spices use the FDA standard for Nutritional Facts, 1/4 tsp as the sample size is so small, all of the values are (0) except for salt. even if the blend is 90% sugar it will read (0) as it is under a few % and rounded down per FDA guidelines, grab most spices / blends the NFP is all 0 except for salt if they use the new 1/4 tsp 1g more or less sample size. - - the reason this is this way you "dont eat spices" you season with them, no one buys a jar of whatever and grabs a tablespoon and goes at it. the meats or foods you season with spices are where most of the calories are located. go and google "nutritional facts sugar", it is all (0). - - i hope my long winded explanation helps. brett
