I Love You, Good Night

This is a great book to read to your child at bedtime, big thick 'pages' that should last a while. I like the story, which is the same as the 1990's original, but I am disappointed that they don't have a 'lap-style' version with the "original artwork" - which was a yellow cover and had people rather than mice in the artwork. So, if anyone out there is listening, there is some demand for a lap edition of this storybook with the original artwork. "....big and warm and round and bright...I love you, goodnight"!

This was ordered as a gift for a baby shower. It was gifted to me years ago and my children can still recite it! It was our bedtime favorite. No crazy agenda, nothing but sweet little ways to say I love you make up this adorable book.

Love this book my all time favorite bedtime story to all 5 of my kids! I read a lot of books to my first two kiddos and stopped reading as much as we should as more kids were welcomed but this one made the cut to being a regular around our house!!! I love gifting to new babies for a lifetime memory! Highly recommend reading to kids as much as possible not just at bedtime!!!

I found this book & took it to meet my nephew at the hospital. The plan is to give him a book once a month til he graduates. The first one in hospital had to be special. This fit perfectly! He actually seemed to be listening as I read the story & shared the pages. I have confidence that this is one we are going to be reading often as his favorite aunt visits.Very cute tale on how much the small one is loved. The comparisons end for the day when he is told again how much he is loved & then good night. Perfect bedtime story!

This is one of my favorite children's books. I bought it once from TJ Max book bin, and read it to my middle son, but over time it was lost. I searched and searched for another to replace it and found it here on Amazon. My youngest son loves the book as much as I do, and while he was learning to read we would take turns reading the pages until one day he just wanted to read the book to me himself. Once again it disappeared after he took it to his dad's to read to him. Guess I'll have to buy it again. It really is an adorable book.

I used to read this book to my son when he was little. He now has a daughter and I couldn’t put my hands on what happened to his. I had to find it to read to my now beautiful granddaughter 🥰

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Valentine's day, it's so much more than just about kissing good night, it's about love, and oh so sweet. My kiddos curl up next to me when I read it and they giggle. We've read it every day since.

This is the version I wanted! The new version is the very same story, but different illustrations. It was important to have this version...with these illustrations; because this is the one I read to my daughter when she was little. It was her favorite book to read at bedtime. She got this for me for Mother's Day this year--I loved it...very sentimental...

Nice, colours a bit dull, so preferably for toddlers not Infants.
