Tri-Axle Fifth Wheel Trailer 38-Ft 1-24/1-25 Galaxie

Excellent model. The trailer is a gooseneck style, so you want to use a dually pickup truck model to pull it. MENG's F350, the Revell F350 duallie. JADA's Chevy Dually, or the AMT Dodge Dually promotional truck. You could use a Moebius F-series kit as well, since those F150-F350s look the same.This kit has a tri axle. There are no chrome parts (not that any are needed). There is a sliding engine hoist for inside the trailer that slides out the side door. The rear door drops down to use as a ramp for your model race car. Two extra ramps are included, long style ramps. The door for the side opens and closes, as well as the small door for where a generator might go. The kit includes the fifth wheel to mount in your truck bed. On the floor of the trailer is another door that opens to put a spare tire (included) or tools. The kit uses rubber tires.This trailer is long enough to where you could just squeeze two 1/25 scale cars inside, depending on the vehicle. There is plenty of room to add tools, benches, and other things if you want to detail it on the inside.There are two adjustable posts up front / underneath, like a real trailer, that are legs that allow you to display the trailer sitting on it's own, without a truck. It's true the awning top has a paper template, but you can use that to mark out some cloth material on your own and cover the awning any way you want to. The framework and the posts for the awning are plastic, and included with the kit.If you ever wanted to make your own scale race team, this is the way to go. There's a lot in the box to make a great trailer.

this kit is well buildt I used it for a nascar car transported with a dodge pick up truck model kit

Would make a nice race team diorama, was a little disappointed with the optional awning which, is just a piece of white board you cut out and fold. I think I would use a piece of printed fabric instead.

Great detail, and fairly easy to put together.
