So once you have grown in to the Thoth, you need to pick up this box. Go ahead and splurge for the card + book combo, because you are going to need it. It is not as aesthetically appealing for doing readings, but that is not what this is for. This is for learning. For the western magician, this is your perfect intro in to I Ching. For the newly inducted, this is great for learning Enochian and Goetia. Honestly this is the product of Crowley's thoughts having been open for nearly a century and authors being able to finally open up the more hidden parts of the Thoth to a wider audience with lots of clarity. In fact, I believe you should read more of Duquette, as his humor, his layman's tone to his explanation, his diverse background, it all makes him a prime candidate for the learning process. If you could take a dense and wise older magician like Crowley or Eliphas Levi and combine them with The Big Lebowski's "The Dude" you get Duquette.
