The jerk chicken I have eaten, maybe twice, was not cooked by Jamaicans although that family had visited there. So I cannot say if the flavor of this product is authentic. I can say it tasted good on my roasted chicken. It is very salty. I think that if I used less, the flavor wouldn't come through. It isn't intense compared to the saltiness.
