Yes the wire is looped so you need to cut it. It holds fuses and comes with one.Perfect for a powerwheels with a aftermarket battery.
  

### ⭐⭐ Not an actual socket for a fuse

This is two spade fittings placed in a piece of plastic, not even actual sockets for the fuse. The fuse legs don't actually fit very well in the spade fittings, as one would imagine since that's not what spade fittings are made for, plus the way they mount them is offset so you have to bend the fuse legs to fit the offset. Very shoddy and cheap construction, wouldn't expect it to hold up to any long-term use.
