The taste is different than marble halvah, which has cocoa or chocolate blended into plain halvah. For years I hadn't been able to find these 8 oz packages, so am glad they are available once again. The flavor is very good, and fresh. It came in its wrapper, then in a bubble pouch. When I opened the wrapper, I found the chocolate melted down the inside, outside and bottom of the plastic-pan container. I tried spreading the chocolate back on top with a knife then refrigerating it, however it was still a mess and not very tasty after refrigeration.
