Might check the leapfrog website to be sure. **Q: Does this 3d book work on a non 3d leapstart player? the question has been asked twice and not answered correctly. i have an old leapstart player.** A: According to leapfrog.com, "Books with LeapStart™ 3D logo feature animations on the LeapStart™ 3D system only." So, the 3D books play audio on the older LeapStart system but will not have the 3D animations. I have not tested this personally yet.
