Using it not for driveway monitoring, but for my mailbox, which is down a long driveway. The signal distance is not a problem ... it reliably goes off when the mail delivery is made, and it is reasonably well protected inside the mailbox. It's been about 10 months. The problem is it is a battery eater. I get about 30 days on the batteries, and it does off only about 20 times during that period. The device should not have been made so small that it requires 3 AAA batteries -- if it had been just a bit larger then AA batteries would have fit fine, and the lifetime between battery changes would not have been so frequent, so bad. ### ⭐⭐⭐ BEWARE *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2021* I bought a different brand and love it. I went back to buy again and it was out of stock so I got two of these instead. My other brand version lasts 10X longer with battery life on Duracell AAAs. These work nice but they will GO THROUGH BATTERIES LIKE WATER.
