The material is both soft and warm, “like a blanket I can wear” he says, and there has been no issues when washing it (cold, colors, inside out just I case to keep the buttons well stiched on.) He is 6ft, 200lb and the XL size that we purchased is a perfect fit; not too tight to where he can’t move around yet not too loose to where he’s drowning in the material. Based on other reviews, I hoped this would be a cozy addition to my pajama collection. Nope! I ordered the largest available size (2XL) and it didn't even button over my chest. It is very minimally stretchy, the fabric is quite thin and flimsy--not at all warm--and the buttons very loosely attached. It fits my husband, who is 5'11" and wears a standard men's L, like a normal pair of pajamas or a hoodie, not even particularly loose/baggy, and the legs ride up towards his knees, so it's not just a question of the pattern not accounting for my bust.
