Review: OUTSTANDING - Normally I wouldn't take the time to review something like these- but they have truly amazed me and I just have to say something. They are AWESOME. I have a 3 car garage with a side entry and rear entry door. I spend a lot of time working in the garage and for years have used paint buckets to hold the doors open. Ghetto for sure I know. If I dared to forget or skipped the buckets in a hurry the slightest breeze would slam one or both the doors. In fact the side entry door slammed so hard once it broke the porch light mounted on the wall next to the door. I was on desertcart looking for something else one day and it randomly showed me this product. Honestly I had never heard of magnetic door catches till I saw the ad for these. I had tried the little wedges but they damaged the rubber seals on the bottom of the doors and weren't quite tall enough so they didn't hold the doors firmly anyway. These magnetic stops are great for a few reasons. They look sleek and modern. They are super easy to install. (I used the foam tape and screws for extra strength.) They hold the doors firmly and with authority, and they release very easily. My doors are metal so the provided screws did not work for me- no biggie I just used #10 self tappers on the door side and #10 modified truss head 1 1/2" screws on the wall side through the 5/8 sheetrock and into the bottom plate of the walls. No one in the reviews seems to mention it but these are spring loaded and I found you don't have to just yank the door to release the magnet. With the door held open if you give it a short rapid push even further open the magnet releases with no effort at all. Seriously- just a quick short press on the door and it pops right open. I love it. Such a simple product under 10 bucks for 2 has made me very happy and works awesome. I feel silly for not looking into these years ago. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

**Q: It says 2 way to install magnetic door stop, little confused uh.. 3M sticker is powerful enough?**
A: No Need to Drill,2 Ways to Install --Either use 3M adhesive sticker without drilling, NO Hole, or mount permanently with screws. You can choose 1 pack type first if you are not sure our product can fit. Personally，i will recommand install with screws which will be more durable. Sometimes 3M may damage the surface due to the magnet working everyday！3M pads should be use on smooth/flat/dry surface，not for drywall/cement/latex paint wall and any uneven surface.

**Q: What is the minimum gap I can get between the door and the wall?  I have a small entry and want to maximize entry width.**
A: Depend on how it is mounted, if wounted on the wall you will need 3.75 inch, if mounted on the floor you will need 2 inches

**Q: It would be nice if the seller added a photo with the dimensions of all pieces so customers don't have to return the item if it doesn't fit?**

This door stop is amazing! I had a bathroom door that wouldn’t quite stay open. This might be a foundation issue but this door stop fixed the issue immediately. Very easy to install, and the magnet is strong! It makes a very quiet click sound when the magnet makes contact and is a strong hold.
