In short, he loves this train! My mom had bought him some Geotrax trains in the past, but they were not radio controlled. That is the part my son really loves. He can now drive the train around with the included radio controller. This set, as all sets, is compatible with other Geotrax accessories. I added in the track he already had in order to make a larger track to run on. My only caveat is that you may want to make sure you get track with the center, notched rail if you want to add to this set. The radio controlled engine uses the center rail for traction. The track I have without the center rail still works, but if the train is exceptionally long or there is an incline the engine is trying to climb, it may not climb too well without the center rail track.
