I've have some that gave me without using xmp amd others where I had to many tweak the ram myself. It just depends on all the hardware as well. **Q: Help Ryzen 7 3800x/w asrock b450m/ac ive tried at 3600mhz and it becomes unresponsive** A: There's many factors to take into on why it's unresponsive. Are you trying to overclock your cpu, gpu, ram? Will it post? (Boot up) can you get into bios? Or did you just install and try to boot up? It just just be a faulty wire not powerful enough psu, I've had to remove the cpu and put it back on as sometimes this is the error. It's hard to say what the problem could be a d depends on what one has done.
