I was praying these lunch boxes were not like the ones you see in the 99 Cents store. These are tough boxes and they lock on all 4 sides and it is a TIGHT seal!! My son has Autism and I was sending his lunch in these boxes and the teachers wanted to know where I got them. Lol I was worried my son wouldn't know how to open, but he did so with ease. AND his food was kept nice and neat without any spills in his book bag. The only thing is that the box does not fit into his SpongeBob lunch bag. But I figured it was time to get a new bag anyway. They lunch box is more durable then the lunch bag (lunch bag not purchased by KOMAX- lol). The box has separate compartments to separate foods that you may not want to mix (or in my case- not sure my son will eat and wouldn't want him to discard of the entire tray of food- ((veggies)) )This is a perfect lunch box for a kid or adult. I like the thickness of the main contain and I love how it snaps onto the base with the rubbery seal. Seems to seal tightly and I have no concern that the lid will pop off. These have been through the dishwasher and still look great. I LOVE that you can put the little plastic boxes into the main container to separate out your food. It allows you to put your entire lunch in one container if you want. Tacos, I put all the cold ingredients in, put meat in one of the small containers, and sauces in another small container. I can pull out the container with the meat, heat it up and I am good to go, no extra fussing or containers. The ONLY think about these that I don't love is the small inside containers are a bit bent looking and that they do not next inside of each other when you are not using them, it gets kind of messy inside of the cabinets, but neither of those things is a huge deal.

**Q: Is this a set of 3 divided containers or just one container with 3 dividers?**
A: Its a set of 3 separate containers. and each of the containers has 3 divider's.Thanks for your interest.

**Q: What is the size of the containers? Are they square or rectangle? Are they all the same size? Thank you**
A: I find that the 8.5" x 6" x 2" stated dimension is incredibly misleading. I thought that's what the actual storage portion would be (essentially, the box), but sadly this is not the case. It's what the overall dimensions are, lid included, and even then, this is a bit of a stretch. Even with the lid on, with the measurement taken from the very top of the lid, I'd argue it is NOT 8.5 inches on the longest side. Who cares whatever width, length, or thickness the lid adds?  I want to know how much food this can fit, and accurate dimensions from the box itself will help.  So from the base of the container, where your food will actually be, it's 7.6" L x 5" W x 1.75" H.  The sides and dividers are also more vertical, so while the containers may not stack well when the lids are off, you don't lose volume to a slant.

**Q: Are these leak proof?**
A: I bought it for Christmas when I visited my family. I put it in the check-in bag with soup as the ultimate test, flying from San Francisco to LA. It leaked a tiny bit. So, for normal use (without the dramatic pressure and temperature changes on a flight and being tossed in a check-in luggage) it never leaked at all. Great containers. I loved them so much I bought more!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cute, excellent for dry foods, not so good for saucy foods

The size is great, the quality is great, and they're perfect for packing lunches comprised of primarily dry foods. If you pack something wet, like curry or something with gravy, though, you have to keep the lunch boxes level (because the inside containers don't meet the lid and therefore spill and leak); otherwise it's just a mess. So, while the containers are "leak proof" in the sense that you can fill them with water, snap the lid on, and hold them sideways with no leaking, the inner compartments are not at all leak proof, and you could end up at lunch time with a weird mixture of rice, curry, and fruit in each compartment, like I did last week when I failed to keep the container level during transport!
