In my experience I can fit up to 5-7 days worth of clothing + toiletries and a laptop, and you can remove some of the extra interior pockets for a little more space if needed. It doesn't expand, but using it for short term trips works very well.The design is absolutely lovely. Note that as you travel more the surface will start to appear scratched up, as will most cases, but I personally love that look since it gives off a "well-traveled" vibe.I will say it can be difficult to lock sometimes if you've packed it full. You need to make sure there's no piece of clothing hanging out or else the lock will be to close without an uncomfortable amount of force.
