The compact, 4-inch tall plants form tidy low mounds of green foliage. An ideal variety for edging, beds, and borders as well for ground cover. Also well suited to growing in containers amid window boxes. Tips: To encourage a second flush of blooms shear off flowers after first blooms fade; then feed and water plants well. I used about half a box in a fairly narrow band and I've had about 10 plants come up.  The 'carpet' has a lot of holes in it.  If I had it to do over, I would have applied it much thicker in areas where I wanted it.  Anyhow, be very generous with this seed in areas where you really want it.
