Some forums said to just use a hose but the threads on the radiator did not match any brass parts at the hardware store. At my local discount auto parts store, these lines were just under $100 EACH. This set of BOTH cost about 30% of the cost of local, and being a Prime customer I got them in less than 2 days. They fit perfectly. And since these are not high pressure lines, I have no worry about their ability to last. The ones I got had some German manufacturer name on them, and they seemed quite sturdy, easily as sturdy as the ones I tried to remove. I guess you could use some type of pipe dope on the threads so they wouldn't corrode and get stuck, but I didn't bother. These are a flare fitting.Also, do yourself a favor and buy new rubber hoses and clamps. No reason to spend all this money and have a cheap piece of hose ruin your job. Trying to remove them actually twisted and ruined the lines, so I ordered this Topaz kit. The new lines fit perfectly. I very carefully added a little anti-seize to the threads of the inlet ports on the new radiator just in case I need to remove the lines some time in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a direct fit for Jeep GC WJ 4.7lHO, 545RFE, but can work *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2020* Bought this product even though it is for the 4.0 Jeeps. My 2004 Jeep GC WJ with the 4.7lHO with the 545 RFE broke the lines when I replaced the radiator, and I needed a product fast. This was going to arrive the quickest, and was also the cheaper option. The two hoses fit and work, not leaking, the length is approximately right but the bends in them are the issue. The shorter lower transmissions cooler line isn't as much of an issue, its the longer one. I had to un-bend some portions so the line would fit over the sway bar instead of under.
