There is a bit of a cushion in the heel portion, but I have to stand a lot and I don't put all of my weight on my heels. Maybe it’s just me but I got this package yesterday and it was in an Amazon bag and I opened it and there was another bag but it was a black cheapie kind of bag not the see-through plastic or a shoebox and before I even opened the original packaging it reeked of a strong chemical I think it’s probably some sort of Scotchgard but it gave my child an asthma attack right away I had to put them outside even in the bags I couldn’t even open it to see if they fit and they were supposed to be a Christmas gift so I of course I am returning this item and I wasn’t careful I had promised myself I wasn’t going to buy anything it wasn’t some sort of a brand-name but I knew I fell for the reviews and I always go for the high number of reviews and it’s really unfortunate because they should not be allowed to sell things that smell like this and I know it’s a private seller they put one of those cards in the shoe saying please give us a five star rating I thought that they were allowed to do that and I thought that I don’t know lately I’m getting a lot of things that have give us a five star review will give you something free.
