For the past 3 years I used another device for my numb feet. It worked well, but after 3 years the battery went dead and couldn't be replaced. It cost twice as much as his item, but didn't have the features this one does. This device allows you to adjust the intensity as well as the mode of the electric charge. I have been using it in the living room when I first wake up. I put my feet on the foot pads, attach the two pads to my right upper arm and then set the intensity for each. The arms seem to need more than the feet. Once the mode is set, it stays the same for the feet and the arm. The timer is set for twenty-five minutes and can't be changed. So after it times out, I run it for an additional 25 minutes. After it times out again, I switch the pads to the left arm and go for another 25 minutes. I usually lower the intensity for the feet at this time, because they don't seem to do well with the additional time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Pain Relief *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2020* I used the unit for 5 days just to decide if I should keep its.
