I soaked 15 seeds for 48 hours in a container of water and sprinkled them on top of water soaked starter soil of 50 percent sand and 50 percent sphagnum moss, wet but well drained. I also planted another 40 seeds that where not soaked in water for 48 hours about half of an inch into the soil to see if they would germinate. in 48 hours all 15 water soaked that where scattered on the soil germinated and are growing like crazy! Unfortunately, only 3 of the ones under the soil and not soaked germinated, It still has not been a week, I am expecting them to grow in the advertised four week cycle. What does this all mean? I am very satisfied with the seeds! 100 % of the water soaked seeds germinated using the freeze thaw, soak and scatter method.
