I expected it to be better, but it is NOT!! Even after fully charging it after having depleted it fully, it sometimes starts with 6-7 hr life but next time I may also get something else in the 3.5 to 5 hrs range. No matter what is initially displayed, it does not really last longer than 3 - 3.5 hrs. During that time, displayed remaining battery life fluctuates between 45 minutes to 4-5 hrs (yes, sometimes higher than what was initially displayed). I am not sure what is causing these wild fluctuations and if it is due to the computer all of a sudden using a lot of energy and then quieting down. In contrast, the battery in my other and older laptop (a 17* HP Envy) shows a steady decline and lasts about 2.5 hrs. I wonder if other replacement Dell batteries also under perform and behave like this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/3 the price of Dell battery; no problems so far.
