If I recall right, all I had to do to clear the carb was the clearance one spot for the electric choke. I also remember having to cut a reverse crescent into the left rear of the plate to clear the intake vacuum tee, but that's - of course - specific to this motor and intake.Plus, it complements the engine bay pretty well and looks super clean (and also hides the "Mopar M1" intake casting marks; a plus since I've painted the intake to match the engine). I'll update the review with pictures sometime. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terrible whistle noise in my application but it works well *by I***D on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2013* I wanted to use this as a replacement for a wood spacer but when I installed this the carb made a horrible whistle noise due to the plate/gasket combo that is used for installing. I would up using the shield anyway and ditched the other plate/gasket pieces and installed the wood spacer back in to get rid of the noise. The shield itself works well and had cooled down my carb considerably. I do not have measurements to share but it went from not being able to touch the carb to being able to keep my hand safely on it now without getting burned.
