Battery was an exact match for my Samsung Tab S 10.5 (SM-T800) tablet. I followed Newpower99's online YouTube video (google it) to disassemble my tablet, install the battery and reassemble the unit. This was my first install, and It took me less than 20 minutes using only the tools that come with the battery. Now that I've done one, I could probably do it in 10 minutes. I would advise watching the video carefully a couple of times first. After installation, I turned my unit on and it powered up as expected, showing 50% battery charge. I am now charging the new battery as instructed, so can't speak to battery life yet, but will edit my review if any issues arise. Lastly, my order was delivered when promised. I would buy from this sell again.

With the replacement battery the tablet can be used for several hours between charges. With the old battery I would only get a couple of hours of use. The battery is held in place with 4 screws, I was only able to replace 2 of the screws because 2 of the holes didn't lineup.6/10/20 - Battery doesn't hold a charge as long as it did 6 months ago. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought this battery to replace the 5 year old original Samsung battery, which declined from about 10 hours of usage when new to about 2 hours of usage. To my great disappointment, this new battery only gives me 30 to 45 minutes of usage. I don't believe at all the7900mah claimed capacity.

Used it to replace the original OEM battery in my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 inch tablet. It has only been a couple of weeks but it seems to be every bit as good in performance so far. I was impressed with the number of tools provided to make the task easier. But I had considetable difficulty securing the new battery in place because one of the mounting holes was misaligned. I had to remove it and start over several times before I was able to thread the screw by forcing it into the hole.

This battery worked perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. I couldn’t use the tablet for more than an hour on a full charge before and this fixed that. Haven’t had to charge it more than a couple times but I let it drain out when first installed completely then fully charged and it holds.

After years of use and heat, the fragile flip holds (around 1/16 of an inch wide) that hold the connectors for the flat cables in place, one of which you need to remove to get the battery out, are very likely to break when removing the cable. My mini USB port was also shot so I had to replace it too. The simple act of carefully opening two of the clips was enough to break them loose. The battery is cheap enough to try and replace but be warned that you may still loose the device.

This is a replacement for a Samsung Tab S 10.5 model SM-T800.The most difficult part was opening the tablet. Just a little tricky, so need to make sure you find the correct instructions or video. Most videos I found show opening the tablet from the front but that did not seem correct, so I went to the Samsung website and I found my model needs to be opened from the back. Installation of the battery itself went smoothly, so happy with the purchase. Not sure about battery life as I just got it installed a day ago but so far so good.
