I bought this backpack for my son to use for Track and Field. The pockets are very deep and hold his throwing shoes great. At one point he carried three shot puts in his bag and it held up fine.I had the side pockets embroidered and it came out okay. I also ironed on a patch and it took to the material wonderful. Overall, this backpack is great!
