Review: Great hanger for heavy items - If you are in law enforcement or military and have to hang a plate carrier at home, this hanger is perfect. It it sturdy and will not bend or break even with a loaded carrier hanging. Much better value than trying to find hangers at the local walmart or other stores. The width of the hanger does make it impossible to hang from a standard hook in a vehicle, but using a crossover bar for clothing does make it possible. The design with the hanger on one side and a handle on the other is quite interesting. While I understand the idea, being able the flip the hanger just to carry it a short distance is not very effective. The hanger has always become hung on a vest without giving a vertical grip. It would be like trying to carry it with the handle angled over. For that reason, I tend to only use the oversized hook for hanging and carrying.

I was very impressed by how much weight this can hold as it will definitely hold my vest and plates. And still plenty strong. It was nice added feature, putting the handle when you turn the hanger upside down to carry your gear. Nicely made
