The pieces of all sets are the same size, so they are swappable among the three sets. Some of the bear shapes in the travel set are exactly the same pose as bears from the contemporary full set, but they're different bears in the same pose, so it's ok. There are also some same-pose/different-bear occurrences within the full set, but not the travel set.One detail to note is that if you're a Wish Bear fan, you'll want to get the full-size set in addition to or instead of this one. The travel set has no Wish Bear.The travel set does, however, include three bears that are not in the full-size set: Heartsong Bear, Sweet Dreams Bear, and an alternate version of Harmony Bear (three hearts instead of flower). The travel set includes both versions of Harmony Bear.The background unfolds to make a full-size board, the same size as the full-size set. However, there is a crease down the middle, and one of the backgrounds is interrupted by the storage pocket that's used for the character sheets.Careful of the Velcro. The Velcro spots are strong, and if you don't pull exactly in the right spot when opening it, the board can bend; you just have to remember to pull the side near the bottom while opening it.Overall, I see this set as a good way to get extra pieces for the full-size sets. It includes lots of stickers and since they're movable, there's a lot more fun to be had! it folds flat, easy to tote around.
