Muy buena radio, fue fácil instalar en mi Amarok 2015 pero se quedó prendido en mi tablero el foco del airbag y no se como quitar eso.

Very nice radio, I like it! Especially quality of sound it’s clear. Unfortunately gps navigation working just with iphone, anyway for this money, radio shows good results. P. S. this is the second radio, on the first there were marks from blows. on the second, however, there are also marks from the screws from the previous installation

Great fit for a 2012 VW Golf. but no rear backup camera would work with this. radio recognized a connected camera but there was a black screen. had to replace and return and gots new one at Best Buy. great aside from that.

This is a proper VW part. I installed it in a 2007 Mk V GTI, and it fit perfectly. The plastic is the same color, the dimensions and shape fit the opening perfectly. This is a direct plug and play replacement. The main harness and antenna wires link right up. All of my speakers still work, the steering wheel controls still work. The car looks and acts like it came out of the factory this way.Complete replacement took about 40 minutes from start to finish, taking care not to break anything on my 13 year old car. The only tools you'll need are a trim removal tool and a T20 Torx bit.I ordered the item on May 10 and it arrived on May 22, despite being slated for late June. It was packaged well and free of defects.This is a nice update for an older VW. If you're on the fence, just do it. I've attached before and after pictures for reference.

Very easy to install, just need some plastic trim removal tools and then it’s pretty much plug and play. Works, looks, and functions identical to a factory VW head unit, the touch screen is responsive, CarPlay works well as well as Bluetooth and radio. It even lights up red with the rest of the buttons. Definitely worth the buy, this is something anyone could instill themselves with little effort in under 10 minutes, and it makes your older car feel brand new. Would definitely recommend. Can glitch from time to time, but you can easily restart it by holding the power button for 15 seconds to fix the issue. 10/10 worth it, looks OEM and works with your car like it too.

Purchased this radio to install on my 2015 VW Passat SEL premium with the fender audio system. After researching this radio it sounded like the perfect upgrade. Really wanted that apple car play. Unfortunately what they don’t tell you is with the fender audio it won’t work at all. Additionally the radio has no connection for your back up camera. I do have to say that the radio did turn on and the CarPlay did connect to my phone with no issues. Just so sound at all and no back up camera. I am sure this will be a great upgrade for any SE but not the SEL. I hope this I go helps who ever maybe looking for this information.

AMAZING. This head unit is a drop in replacement for VW OEM units and looks like one. SO EASY to swap in, no dash kit or wiring harness needed in my 2008 Jetta 2.5 S. I'm working with the seller and searching online for a solution to inability to connect an iPhone running iOS 13.3 to CarPlay via USB. The port charges the phone but no CarPlay; the unit thinks the phone is locked when it isn't. It will be awesome if I can get this fixed and an update will follow.UPDATE: Got CarPlay to work AND looks like I don't need the CANBUS gateway update, no dead battery so far. What's strange is my iPhone wouldn't sync with the OEM Lightning cable, however a third party, MI-certified cable did... go figure. Also, be sure you have NOTHING connected to the VW 20 pin iPod dock! Five stars well deserved.

Installed in MK5 Jetta.Super easy to install. Just need a trim tool and a T20 screw driver. (Be super careful when removing your plastic. In a 15 year old car mine basically disintegrated as soon as I touched the trim tool to it)The sound output is a million times clearer than stock. Apple play loads up super quick. Touchscreen is super responsive.The only downside is I wasn’t able to plug my antenna up because the adapter was too narrow to fit the 2 plugs. (My vehicle has the fin style antenna and I think was equipped with XM radio) but it is 2020 and I don’t listen to the radio at all so it’s nothing something I was upset about.Overall 10/10 would definitely recommend getting this radio.
